Programming Instructions for Light Control:

• Close the garage door and choose an unused remote button to control the light.
• Press and hold this remote button.
• Simultaneously press and hold the Lock button on the MyQ Control Panel.
• While holding the Lock button, also press and hold the Light button on the door control.
• After the opener lights flash, release all three buttons. If no light bulbs are installed, you will hear two clicks.

Compatibility Note: The 889LM is compatible only with Security+ Garage Door Openers manufactured after 1998, identifiable by a red/orange or purple learn button. It is not compatible with Security+ 2.0 Garage Door Openers.
